EPRC member of staff elected Programme Chair of APSA related group

01 September 2013

Laura Polverari was elected Programme Chair of the Conference Group on Italian Politics and Society (CONGRIPS) for the period 2014-2016, at the Group's business meeting held during the 2013 APSA Annual Conference. Laura's tasks will include organising CONGRIPS panels at APSA from 2014 to 2016, identifying important issues that could attract the interest of Italianists from the US and beyond. CONGRIPS was formally initiated on September 2, 1975 at the American Political Science Association (APSA) convention in San Francisco, California. It is currently chaired by Professor Simona Piattoni (University of Trento), who will be replaced by Professor Aime Kreppel (University of Florida) at the start of the new year.
