At a meeting of the Austrian Spatial Planning Conference (Österreichische Raumordnungskonferenz, ÖROK) on 19 February, John Bachtler presented a preliminary assessment of the Third Cohesion Report.
During a day of presentations and workshops on the EC proposals for the future of EU cohesion policy John discussed the implications of the new policy philosophy, objectives, priorities and implementation arrangements for Structural and Cohesion Funds as well as the associated proposals for State aid control after 2006.
