Espon Partners Meeting in Stockholm

01 January 2004

The final TPG meeting of the Espon project 2.2.1 (the territorial effects of the Structural Funds) was held in Stockholm on 19-20 November 2004. During the meeting, the preliminary conclusions of the project were discussed as well as the final steps of the research which is due for completion in March 2005.

Attending from EPRC were Laura Polverari and Francois Josserand. Laura presented the results of the analysis of the interrelationship between national and European regional policies in the 15 'older' Member States and between the national regional policies implemented in these countries and the spatial concepts of territorial cohesion and polycentric development.
