Professor John Bachtler has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Office for Spatial Planning (Bundesamt für Bauwesen und Raumordnung, BBR) by the Federal German Minister for Transport, Construction and Housing Affairs, Dr Manfred Stolpe.
The BBR is responsible for research and policy advice on spatial planning, urban development, construction and housing in Germany (for further information, see here ):
