Study on the progress of INTERREG III programmes just published

31 January 2005

The results of an international EPRC research study on the performance of INTERREG III programmes has just been published by the INTERACT Secretariat in Vienna.

The research - A Study of the Mid Term Evaluations of INTERREG Programmes for the Programming Period 2000-2006 - was undertaken by Sandra Taylor, Karol Olejniczak and John Bachtler on behalf of INTERACT. It comprises a meta-evaluation and comparative synthesis of the findings of the Mid-Term Evaluations of 67 Strand A, B and C INTERREG III programmes with the aim of taking stock of progress to date, informing the priorities of the INTERACT initiative and identifying lessons to inform the future of European territorial cooperation in the post-2006 Structural Fund programming period.
