Glasgow Discussion Group on the Future of European Funding for Scotland

04 November 2005

The debate about the future of EU Structural Funds and their application across the regions of the EU has been going on through the summer and crucial decisions must be reached on the EU Budget before the end of the UK's Presidency in December.

These decisions will have a significant impact on Scotland which has enjoyed many years of high level funding, but this may be about to change. The discussion will be led by Laurie Russell, Chief Executive of Strathclyde European Partnership and EPRC's Professor John Bachtler and is being held on Monday 14th November 2005 from 7.00pm - 8.30pm in the Foyer Bar, Citizens Theatre, Gorbals Street, Glasgow. Entry is free but places are limited so please advise numbers wishing to attend by contacting West of Scotland Organiser Ian Traill at the Eurotactics Consultancy on 0141 639 6404; ian@eurotactics.com.
