Structural Funds: Improving Transparency & Accountability

03 May 2006

On 24 April Irene McMaster presented a paper entitled 'Structural Funds: Improving Transparency & Accountability' at a one day seminar organised by 'Transparency International' in Prague.

The seminar focused both on the management and implementation of Structural Funds in the Czech Republic and highlighted opportunities for international exchange of experience. Irene McMaster's paper outlined ways in which Member States have built in systems and provisions to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of Structural Fund programmes throughout the programming cycle.
