EPRC's report for the on-going evaluation of the 2007-13 Northern Periphery Programme

03 February 2010

Irene McMaster was invited to present EPRC's final report for the on-going evaluation of the 2007-13 Northern Periphery Programme at the meeting of the Programme's Monitoring Committee.

The meeting was held in Kiruna, the northern most city in Sweden, on 27 January. The Northern Periphery Programme aims to help peripheral and remote communities on the northern margins of Europe to develop their economic, social and environmental potential.

The evaluation report provided an external perspective on the Programme with a view to improving and strengthening its performance, optimising the allocation of Programme resources, and assisting the Programme authorities to prepare future operations.
