John Bachtler appointed to the Board of the Regional Studies Association

08 March 2010

Following its recent AGM, the Regional Studies Association (RSA) has co-opted Professor John Bachtler onto the RSA Board.

John is a long-standing member of the RSA and has been involved in the organisation of many RSA international conferences as well as in the Association's future strategy planning. His role on the Board is related to the RSA's growing policy-related activities in Europe and links with European institutions.

The RSA Chief Executive, Sally Hardy commented: 'We are delighted to welcome John Bachtler onto the Board which will help us to drive forward our ambitious international strategy, with an active conference agenda on European policy issues and contribution to high-level European policy debates'.
