EPRC participation at Polish presidency seminar on the territorial dimension of development policies

02 August 2011

Martin Ferry was an invited speaker at an international Seminar on the "Territorial Dimension of Development Policies," which was held on 18-19 July in Ostróda, Poland.

Organised under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, it provided a forum for an informal exchange of views on the possibilities and directions of strengthening the territorial dimension of development policies. The seminar was attended by experts and practitioners from the EU Member States, representatives of international organisations involved in the design and implementation of development policies, as well as by prominent theorists.

The objective of the seminar was to explore changing approaches to development policies and their practical impact on the programming and implementation of these policies.
