EPRC participation at Visegrad conference

Dr Martin Ferry participated in the conference 'Effective instruments supporting territorial development' experiences of regions in the implementation of regional policy in V4 countries, Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia, organised by the Polish Ministry of Regional Development on 18-19 October 2012 in Krakow, Poland.

The main objective of the conference was to initiate an exchange of views and opinions on the implementation of regional and Cohesion policies in Visegrad Group countries and it included senior policy-makers from these countries, academics and representatives of the European Commission. Martin's presentation focused on different approaches to strengthening the territorial approach in development policies across Member States.
