EPRC at Austrian conference on Cohesion policy 2014-20

05 December 2012

On 19 November 2012, Stefan Kah was an invited speaker at the second STRAT.AT 2020 Forum in Linz, Austria. The STRAT.AT 2020 is the strategic framework for the Austrian preparations of the Partnership Agreement and involves all Austrian regional policy stakeholders.

The conference on the future directions of Cohesion policy started with a presentation by Jean-Marie Seyler, Director at DG REGIO, on the Commission's Position Paper for Austria. Stefan Kah then provided an overview of how Member States are preparing for the 2014-20 programme period, before Markus Seidl, Director of ÖROK, reported on the current state of preparations in Austria.

The afternoon was dedicated to a series of workshops discussing a wide range of themes relating the drafting of the Austrian Partnership Agreement.
