Conference on Berlusconi and Post-modern politics

20 December 2012

Laura Polverari of EPRC presented a paper on 'the Italian political system at a critical juncture and its incapability of renewal', at a one day conference organised by Jim Newell (University of Salford) and Daniele Albertazzi (University of Birmingham), on December 14.

Keynote speeches by Steven Gundle (University of Warwick) and Bill Emmott (award winning journalist and former editor of the Economist), were complemented by nine papers, embracing all aspects of the Italian political system, from coalition government to the personalisation of politics via new media, football and tabloids.

The conference programme and papers can be downloaded from this link.
