Irish Presidency Conference on Rankings and the Visibility of Quality Outcomes in the European Higher Education Area

04 February 2013

David Charles of EPRC was invited to make a presentation and chair a session on regional engagement and knowledge transfer at this Irish Presidency event. The conference was held at Dublin Castle on the 30th and 31st January and brought together policymakers and academics interested in assessing the performance of universities.

David's presentation was based on work he had done previously for the HE Funding Council for England on benchmarking HE regional engagement and the design of the HE Business and Community Interaction Survey.

The conference saw the launch of a new European university ranking system called U-Multirank. For further information on the conference see here.
