EPRC hosted a successful, and highly interactive, international workshop on the Social Dynamics of Innovation Networks in Glasgow In April 2013. The workshop was the latest in a series over the past two years bringing together a group of researchers with interests in the territorial nature of innovation and its intersection with networks of individuals and organisations.
The ten papers presented covered themes such as reconceptualising the knowledge economy, leadership in regional innovation, social networks among innovative businesses, university-industry networks,knowledge flows in clusters and cluster policies, regional innovation cultures and institutional actors in innovation systems.
