Brexit, INTERREG and the UK

Brexit throws future engagement of the UK in European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) into doubt. Yet, non-EU Member States are key, long-standing partners in a large number of INTERREG programmes.

Non-EU Member States identify added value from their involvement in territorial cooperation programmes. Based on the current regulations, he UK, or parts of the UK, could still chose to participate.

The UK has been involved in ETC programmes since their inception over 25 years ago. Irene McMaster's blog addresses the question: 'Would the UK be Missed'?
