New book on performance and direction of EU Cohesion policy

21 December 2016

John Bachtler is one of the editors of a new book ‘EU Cohesion policy: reassessing performance and direction’ published by Routledge together with the Regional Studies Association.

Edited with Peter Berkowitz, Sally Hardy and Tatjana Muravska, the book brings together contributions from academics, members of European institutions, and national and regional level policymakers in order to assess the performance and direction of EU Cohesion policy against the background of the most significant reforms to the policy in a generation.

John Bachtler also has a chapter in the book on the long-term effectiveness of Structural Funds, written together with Iain Begg (LSE), David Charles (Lincoln University) and Laura Polverari (EPRC).
