EPRC presentation at Twinning Seminar in Romania

01 January 2003

Dr Martin Ferry delivered a paper at the conference, 'Romania Preparing for European Structural Funds' organised as part of the National Twinning Project.

The paper, entitled 'Regional governance in the EU and the experience of New Member states: the Cases of Poland and the Czech Republic' explored some of the issues arising from the changing governance of regional policy across Europe and applied them to the case of New Member States and Candidate Countries.

In particular, it examined how preparations to implement Structural Funds are influencing regional policy arrangements in these countries.
