Macro-regional strategies workshop in Kristiansand

On 3rd and 4th October Dr Arno van der Zwet attended a workshop on EU Macro-regional Strategies and 'Macro-regionalisation' at the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. The workshop was attended by leading scholars on Macro-regional strategies and discussed both the latest theoretical approaches and empirical findings. The workshop discussions were based on a series of chapters that are being drafted for a book on macro-regional strategies. Dr Irene McMaster and Dr Arno van der Zwet contribution focusses on the relation between macro-regional strategies and European Cohesion policy. The expected publication date is in the second half of 2015.
