John Bachtler was one of the visiting lecturers at the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) PhD Summer Schoegional Development Strategies in Comparative Perspective, held in Aalborg, Denmark (21-28 August), and hosted by the School for Postgraduate Interdisciplinary Research on Interculturalism and Transnationality (SPIRIT).
Speaking on Implementation of the Structural Funds: Experience and Renewal, John's lecture examined how the management and delivery of EU cohesion policy has evolved over time, the different dimensions of value added of the Funds and the ongoing reform debate about the future of EU cohesion policy.
