New Publication on Czech regional policy

01 January 2004

A new paper, 'From Regional Deficit to Institutional Overload? - Regional Policy in the Czech Republic', written by Dr Irene McMaster, has been published as part of EPRC's European Policy Research Papers Series.

The paper explores the way in which institutional and programming structures involved in regional economic policy have evolved in the Czech Republic and provides an early assessment of their achievements. The analysis draws on the results of a yearlong study of the changing role of the region in the processes of regional economic restructuring in Poland and the Czech Republic, which was funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
