New paper: A comparative analysis of Norwegian and Swedish regional policies

10 August 2005

EPRC's Nina Quiogue has recently published an article comparing the regional policies of Norway and Sweden. In the context of the centennial anniversary of the peaceful union dissolution between Norway and Sweden, common and differing characteristics of each country's regional policy are highlighted.

The article discusses the fundamental basis for policy and the subsequent developments since the 1950s with emphasis on the changing regional policy context. The article is published in the Journal of Nordregio, Vol.5 (2), 2005, pp.13-18.
