EPRC publication on Regional Governance in Industrial Regions in Central and Eastern Europe

Martin Ferry and Irene McMaster have contributed to the recently published book Regionalism Contested, edited by Iwona Sagan and Henrik Halkier.

Their chapter, entitled 'Regional Governance in Industrial Regions in Central and Eastern Europe: A Polish-Czech Comparison', focuses on the role of regional government in the evolution of regional economic development networks in Polish Silesia and Moravia Silesia in the Czech Republic.

Focusing on two heavy industrial regions, the work investigates the interaction between existing sectoral policy networks and emerging forms of regional governance. See here:
