New article on the implications of demographic ageing for regional policy

01 May 2006

The implications of demographic ageing for regional policy are addressed in an article by Dr Martin Ferry in the latest issue of Regions, published by the Regional Studies Association.

The article examines regional policy responses to the process of demographic ageing across the European Union. The research for the article is published in a comprehensive report arising from a research project funded by: The European Older People's Platform (AGE); Age Concern England (ACE); The Northern Ireland Executive (Office of the First Minister & Deputy First Minister); The North West Regional Assembly in England; and Scottish Enterprise and available from http://www.eprc.strath.ac.uk/eprc/ageing.cfm
