New Publication: the new Cohesion policy and the National Strategic Reference Frameworks in the EU27

02 May 2007

Laura Polverari has contributed an article to the last issue of SVIMEZ' 'Rivista economica del Mezzogiorno' on the status and content of the National Strategic Reference Frameworks developed by the EU27 Member States for the 2007-13 programming period.

An unprecedented novelty, the NSRFs provide for the first time a country-wide framework for the design of the national and regional Operational Programmes that will be implemented in each Member State.

The paper, which draws from IQ-Net research, discusses the new architecture of 2007-13 Cohesion policy, the progress with the preparations of the NSRF, the strategic and territorial choices made in these documents, and the number of priority axes and OPs foreseen in each country.
