EPRC presentation on evaluation use in Poland

12 December 2008

On 10 December 2008, Martin Ferry and Karol Olejniczak (of EUROREG, University of Warsaw) presented the results of their research into the use of evaluations of EU-funded regional development programmes in Poland.

Funding was awarded through a competitive call for research projects under the 'Better Government' (Sprawne Panstwo) Programme organised by Ernst & Young in Poland. The presentation at Warsaw University library was followed by a panel discussion that included contributions from Veronica Gaffey, Head of Evaluation Unit, Directorate General for Regional Policy, European Commission and Professor Michał Kulesza of Warsaw University.

More information on the project and a link to the research report (in Polish) can be found here
