05 February 2009

Dr Irene McMaster is the author of a chapter on Ireland's experience of EU Cohesion policy in the recently published book 'EU Cohesion Policy after Enlargement', edited by Michael Baun and Dan Marek. The chapter addresses how Ireland has adapted to EU Cohesion policy structures and practices, how domestic institutions and structures have shaped institutional approaches to regional economic development challenges and the extent to which approaches have changed for the 2007-13 round of structural funds programmes.

Publication details: Michael Baun and Dan Marek (eds) (2008) EU Cohesion Policy After Enlargement, Palgrave MacMillan, 295 pp, ISBN-13:978-0-230-52472-9.
