EPRC knowledge exchange with regional policymakers from China

21 July 2010

EPRC research has been presented as part of an EU-China dialogue on regional policy.

On 19 July, Carlos Mendez gave an invited presentation on the management and implementation of EU Cohesion policy as part of the opening day of lectures of the EU-China Policy Dialogues Support Facility (PDSF-China) on regional policy.

The Policy Dialogue is a two-week training course organized on behalf of DG Regional Policy (DG Regio) and China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) by the Academy of European Law (based in Trier, Germany) for regional policy officials from 16 of the 31 provinces in China.

Carlos' presentation drew on extensive EPRC research on the design and delivery of EU Cohesion policy conducted under the IQ-Net programme.
