EPRC presentation on territorial cooperation post-2013

25 November 2010

Dr Irene McMaster was an invited speaker at the seminar organised by the East of Scotland European Consortium (ESEC), Scotland Europa, and the West of Scotland European Forum (WoSEF), under the auspices of the Scottish Transnational European Programmes Forum.

The event, on 22 November 2010, explored current opportunities from the EU Territorial Cooperation Programmes and initiated discussions about future programmes. Irene McMaster's presentation was on the subject of 'Territorial Cooperation post 2013' and discussed the potential focus, content and resources for territorial cooperation in the next Cohesion policy programming period.

As well as drawing on lessons from past and current territorial cooperation programmes, the presentation highlighted key themes from the European Commission's Fifth Cohesion Report and domestic policy debates.
