New EPRC project: Ex ante Evaluation of the North Sea Region Programme

01 February 2013

Led by Irene McMaster, EPRC will conduct the ex ante evaluation of the2014-2020 North Sea Region Programme. The INTERREG B programme focuses on encouraging and supporting transnational cooperation in the North Sea Region. The seven North Sea Region countries are Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, the Flemish Region of Belgium, the UK and Norway.

Regions in the area share many of the same problems and challenges and by working together, sharing knowledge, and experiences it is hoped that a sustainable and balanced future will be secured for the whole region. The ex ante evaluation will be an iterative interactive process that accompanies the design of the 2014-2020 Programme and appraises its different elements.
