Newest EPRC staff member receives Doctorate

06 December 2018

This month saw our newest staff member, (the now) Dr Wilbert den Hoed, pick up his Doctoral degree from his alma mater, Newcastle University. He successfully defended his thesis ‘The road to age-friendly mobility: how cycling changes the way we age’ during a viva voce exercise last summer. The graduation concludes his 3.5 year-long activity in the Geography department at Newcastle, where he worked on various research projects on Age Inclusiveness, Transportation and Sustainable Urban Development. We congratulate Wilbert with this great achievement!
