EPRC was represented at a conference in Rome, organised by the Ministry of Economy and Finances, the Ministry of Productive Activities and IPI (Istituto per la Promozione Industriale, the Italian Agency for Industrial Promotion) on the topic of the design and implementation of support to businesses in the Objective 2 programmes, that was held at IPI on 6 July 2005.
The seminar, attended by representatives from all Italian Centre-North regions, Sardegna and Molise, comprised a full agenda, including interventions from: Paola De Cesare, DG of the Unit for Structural Funds programmes at the Ministry of Economy; Vincenzo Gazerro and Angela D'Alonzo of the same Unit of the Ministry of Economy and Finances; Andrea Floria (consultant to the Ministry of Economy); Valentino Bolic, Director of the Community Programme Areas of IPI; and, Giorgio Martini and Roberto Pasetti both of IPI.
EPRC's Laura Polverari gave a presentation on 'Aids to firms and European cohesion policy 2007-13' in which she presented the experiences and views on future cohesion policy of IQ-Net partner regions. More information on the seminar and copies of the presentations can be found here:
