EU Cohesion policy and the European 'model of society' is the theme of a book chapter by John Bachtler and Laura Polverari in the newly published book 'Territorial Cohesion and the European Model of Society' edited by Andreas Faludi.
The chapter discusses the broader interpretation of the role of regional policy at European at national levels over the past decade and considers how 'territorial cohesion has become part of the policy agenda for the Structural Funds.
