On 26 March 2009, Martin Ferry presented a paper at the conference 'Evaluation of Structural funds: Reinforcing Quality and Utilisation'. Held in Vilnius, the conference was organised by the Lithuanian Ministry of Finance to facilitate exchange of evaluation experience and promote the quality and strategic use of evaluations in Structural Funds programme.
The conference brought together representatives from the European Commission and a range of Member States. It included participants from programme authorities, evaluators and other policy stakeholders. Martin's presentation, based on IQ-Net research, was entitled 'Building evaluation capacity for Cohesion policy: a cross-national overview'.
