New EPRC Background Briefing on Business Development Banks in selected EU countries

EPRC has prepared a background briefing for the Scottish Government which examines a range of experience in selected EU countries with business development banks and funds. The report focuses on the structures, governance and rationales for supporting economic development through business development banks and funds in the EU and considers some of the forms of intervention which are currently provided in Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Wales and UK.
