The European Structural & Investment Funds journal (EStIF) is published by Lexxion publishers in cooperation with EPRC (https://estif.lexxion.eu/). Launched at the start of the 2014-20 programming period and published quarterly, EStIF focuses on the practical aspects of the implementation of ESI Funds. Covering a wide range of relevant themes and topics, the journal aims to provide a platform for sharing (best) practice and expertise between Member States, managing authorities, stakeholders, evaluators, academics, beneficiaries and more.
The journal is becoming ‘open access’ from January 2019, providing a great opportunity for the dissemination of knowledge on ESIF-related topics. Recent issues have focused on themes such as smart specialisation, rural development, urban strategies and financial instruments. The special issue themes planned for 2019 include:
- Monitoring, evaluation and indicators
- Simplified cost options
- Audit and irregularities, fraud and corruption
- Closure and Cohesion policy post-2020.
General articles on any ESIF-related topic are also welcome at any time. There is flexibility on article length – the main aim is that articles are accessible and of interest to a policy-maker audience. Contributions from ESIF managing authorities and national and regional policy-makers are particularly encouraged!
