Stefan Kah was an invited speaker at the 20th conference of the German-Austrian URBAN Network in Graz, Austria, on 7-8 November 2016.
He gave a presentation on EPRC's ongoing research on the urban dimension of ESI Funds, particularly with regard to the implementation of Art. 7 of the ERDF regulation and Integrated Territorial Investments. The study is being carried out for European Commission DG Regional and Urban Policy and is expected to be concluded in mid 2017.
The focus of the conference was on smart city approaches in Austrian and German cities and on how ESI Funds are targeting urban development issues.
