EPRC presentation to Norwegian Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development

Professor Douglas Yuill and Dr Sara Davies visited the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development in Oslo at the end of January. They presented the results of EPRC's EoRPA research on the impact of the financial and economic crisis on regional development and policy in Europe to an audience of Norwegian regional policymakers. The Norwegian Ministry is part of the EoRPA consortium of regional policy departments across Europe which fund comparative EPRC research on regional policy developments (see http://www.eprc.strath.ac.uk/eorpa/default.cfm) . The visit was also used to discuss the future research directions of EoRPA and Sara Davies' developing research programme on innovation in peripheral regions.
