On 21 January Dr Arno van der Zwet participated in a round table session in Tromso, Norway. The conference, Regional Cooperation in the Arctic, and round table panel discussed opportunities to improve delivery of territorial cooperation interventions in the Arctic region. They main focus was on establishing a collaborative mechanism which can realise synergies between regional programmes, initiatives and projects, and streamline funding to facilitate more innovation, capacity building and knowledge exchange. The Conference represents the next stage in what is known as the Bodo process, a series of meetings initiated in 2013 which led to a major international conference in Glasgow hosted by the EPRC on behalf of the Scottish Government in June 2014 see http://www.arcticconnections.eu Arctic Connections.The conference was organised as part of Arctic Frontiers, a major scientific and business conference on Arctic developments.
