EPRC co-organiser of RSA Workshop on RSA Workshop on Cross-national policy transfer in regional and urban policy

Dr Laura Polverari of EPRC was one of three organisers of the Workshop on RSA Workshop on Cross-national policy transfer in regional and urban policy, which took place on 19 January 2015 (together with Dr. Marcin Dabrowski, local organiser, and Dr Ida Musialkowska). The conference was hosted by TU Delft and was kicked-off by two keynote lectures of exceptional standing, delivered by Professor Andreas Faludi (TU Delft) and Professor Alan Gilbert (UCL), both undisputed authorities in their respective fields of European spatial planning (Faludi), and employment, urbanisation and regional development in developing countries (Gilbert). The day provided the opportunity for an intense and inspired debate on cross-national transfer and learning in the fields of regional and urban development policy as well as in spatial planning and related topics in the EU and European contexts, Latin and North America, and China.
