The project involved research on inward investment partnerships. The main focus of the study was to identify and examine ‘best practice’ examples of partnership and inward investment attraction in Europe. It examined the methods through which various European regional development agencies organise and manage local partners to attract and facilitate new inward investment projects. The project also aimed to develop policy recommendations for Dunbartonshire Enterprise which would improve their arrangements for organising local partners in the Dunbartonshire economy.
